Tekin AKTAN

Co-founder of Atacom and the Chairman of the Board of Directors

As a co-founder of Atacom and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Tekin Aktan is responsible for the company’s long-term direction & strategy.

Tekin Aktan has 30+ years of experience in IT industry. Prior to founding Atacom, he worked as system engineer, computer trainer & technical department manager at different companies.

Tekin Aktan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Istanbul Technical University.

Murat ARKALI

Managing Director of Atacom and a member of the Board of Directors

As Managing Director of Atacom and a member of the Board of Directors, Murat Arkalı is responsible for leading the company’s go-to-market organization.

Murat Arkalı has 15+ years of experience in data management industry.

Before joining Atacom, he was country manager of the NetApp Business Unit at Tech Data. His diverse background includes different roles at NetApp, Fujitsu Technology Solutions, EMC and Emerson Network Power.

Murat Arkalı holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical & electronics engineering from Middle East Technical University, a Master of Science degree in electrical & computer engineering from Southern Illinois University and another Master of Science degree in computational & applied mathematics from Southern Methodist University.

Funda AKTAN

Financial Affairs Director of Atacom

As Financial Affairs Director of Atacom and a member of the Board of Directors, Funda Aktan is responsible for leading the company’s financial and administrative affairs organization.

Funda Aktan has 20+ years of experience focused on finance & human resources. Before joining Atacom as partner, she held different HR roles at Show TV and Omsan Logistics.

Funda Aktan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Marmara University.

Levent KAPTANOĞLU

Director of Technology and a member of the Board of Directors

As the Director of Technology and a member of the Board of Directors, Levent Kaptanoğlu leads the technical vision of Atacom and is responsible for the solutions and services offered by the company.

Levent Kaptanoğlu, has more than 20 years of experience in information technologies and worked as the NetApp Business Unit Solutions Manager at Tech Data Turkey before joining Atacom. During his career, he held different positions at NetApp, EMC and Prolink.

Levent Kaptanoğlu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer sciences from Kocaeli University.
